About Jazmin
Jazmin Alvarez is a multi-hyphenate — beauty entrepreneur, strategist, intuitive astrologer, speaker, mentor and creator — whose work explores what happens when women stop outsourcing their power. Built in New York City, a New Yorker of 22 years.
She is the founder of Pretty Well Beauty, a beauty retail and entrepreneurial venture built around serving women with textured hair and underserved beauty needs — which means her advice comes from operating a business, not observing one. She has spoken on panels about entrepreneurship and business at Amazon, Samsung, Twitter and Yelp.
She does not believe women need to shrink themselves to be successful, lovable, respectable or understood. Her work is about sovereignty.
